Body Scapes Studio
Where Fitness Begins
Our golf program focuses on posture, hand-strength, hand-eye coordination, strength/joint mobility exercises.

Our classes begin with a neural warm-up. We move right into joint mobility work. Then we start our body weight exercises. Then we vary between Kettlebells, Clubbells® or Medicine Ball work for our muscular endurance, power work. We then follow with work on speed, hand-eye, grip strength and wind down the one hour work out with balance and relaxation exercises.

It is the most energizing hour of your day and get a bonus: No more back pain playing golf!
Dynamic Postural Alignment and Neuromuscular reeducation are the foundation of our program.

Posture First Exercise

We will video tape or print out your program. We can e-mail updates of your exercise program as you travel during the year.

We believe in periodization protocols. You should not workout at the same intensity throughout your competitive season.

Off season we push the limits of your mind, body, spirit conditioning protocols. As your competitive season begins, your exercise routine winds down to the IN-SEASON program you will follow during the year.

Midway through your golf season, we will update your exercise program. We target your weakest link to energize your body as the long competitive season begins to drain your strength.

Our exercise program combines general body conditioning for overall strength and flexibility and golf specific training. . During each session, we clean the slate (trying to get the body back into balance) unwinding the body to prepare us for the next tournament. The Bodyscapes’ golf workout is geared toward speed, power, explosion and mobility. Our stretching is active, dynamic stretching that incorporates muscular control. We focus on developing proper breathing patterns during the exercises, necessary during the golf swing. We break down your personalized program into general conditioning, cardio-vascular and golf specific training. We include speed and explosion exercises; balance and coordination exercises; agility, coordination and hand/ eye exercises, along with general conditioning training.

Our program can be done on a one-on-one supervised basis, in a small group or outlined for home use with a monthly update.
